Artist's Comments

My first try at using a Wacom. Lesson learned--start with a complete sketch. The hands and feet are disappointing, but I am too impatient to start on a new piece with a better sketch. Hope you enjoy watching the progress.

I'm enjoying the process,
Lots of your previous works have been nice and surreal, And if Surrealer is a word then this one is definitely surrealer.
Very nice work!

Hey there,

Good to hear from you again. I agree about the traditional. I'm wondering if my digital stuff will retain the traditional feel as I progress.

Dude,

Thanks even morer (if that's a word). [link]

Suggestions welcome.

hot + girl + surrealistic setting = greatest painting ever

See, the surest equation for success

Good point. I'm on it, 'cept I need to find a model to pose. I haven't developed my Frazetta-mind enough to do truly hot girls from scratch. btw, watched the Frazetta disc from Fire and Ice--man, what a gift. If the guy wasn't completely lying, he was so incredibly blessed, it's not even funny. Oh well. Talk to you tomorrow.
:iconjerrycarr:
Yah, I dunno where that kinda artistic fire comes from. Just amazing. Dude, we gotta plan a trip to the Frazetta museum in the Spring--it'll blow your mind.
